Q: Are you considering any new drafting formats besides Booster Draft/Rochester Draft? (i.e. Starter Draft, Solomon Draft, Backdraft) Jeff Donais, DCI Manager, writes: "We are not considering additional formats at this time. Booster Draft and Rochester Draft have both proven to be very skill intensive formats and both formats have a strong following. Booster Draft is a faster and easier format to run and will probably always remain popular. Rochester Draft is a little more difficult to run, but introduces a few new variables to drafting. Solomon draft is an interesting format, and I would put it in third place, but there is no plan to use it at premier events (with the possible exception of the annual Magic: The Gathering invitational)."
